Just did a session over the weekend, the A-Designs Gold on Petra Haden (Vox), and a Hamptone JFET on Bill Frisell (Electric Guitar).. Fantastic.

i still have not tried the EM-GOLD but i am wanting to!

Indeed, I am fastly becoming addicted to the 500 format. I like the lunchbox cause its easy to move around, so maybe another one. I kinda hate that the buzz takes two spaces, esp since it has a workable built in sidechain I dont really see myself using the external sidechain. But it seems to be a really good compressor, so I dont know. The EM-Gold is reeeeelly good btw, so is the Biz. Thinking about trying different DOA's in the API.. But there are so many modules available, its keeeling meeeeee.

i think the buzz comps are great, if space is a issue them load them in a future rack for in the studio use.
their is a few comps that are coming as well as out that will only take one slot and they are great.

got an original OSA pre, sounds remarkably like the 512c. Eyeing the Alta Moda AM10 Comp/Limiter..

So now I have two orphaned modules, the other Aphex EQ and the EM Gold..

Another rack and more modules is the only cure.
